AU Offering Major Scholarships to Madison County Students
Anderson, Ind. — Anderson University is pleased to announce significant scholarship opportunities for students in Madison County in an effort to give back to the community. On average, the Madison County Scholarship will help students and families save over $22,000 each year in tuition fees.
The Madison County scholarship is eligible for high school seniors who graduate from a Madison County high school or who reside in Madison County and plan to enroll at AU in the fall of 2020. Students must have a cumulative high school GPA of 3.0 or above and must maintain a 3.0 while at AU to be eligible for renewal.
The scholarship initiative was created with the intent to increase community pride and engagement. AU has a deep desire to be a part of the initiative to “keep local talent local” by investing in the lives of Madison County students and their families.
“This scholarship provides private education for a public school price,” said John Pistole, President of Anderson University. “AU is excited to offer this significant opportunity to our families right here in Madison County. Having grown up in Anderson, attending Park Place Elementary, Central Junior High School, Anderson High School, and Anderson University, I have a strong affinity for making an outstanding college education available to local students at an affordable price.”
Anderson University is on a mission to educate students for lives of faith and service, offering more than 60 undergraduate majors, 30 three-year degrees, 20 NCAA Division III intercollegiate sports, alongside adult and graduate programs.
