Anderson University Presents Fall Into Dance 2018

Anderson, Ind. — On Nov. 9 at 7:30 p.m. and Nov. 10 at 2:30 p.m. the School of Music, Theatre, and Dance will host Fall Into Dance 2018 at Anderson University in Reardon Auditorium. Ticket price is $12 each.

This year’s Fall into Dance concert includes 13 works by dance majors and minors.  Choreographers range from freshmen through seniors. The performances will include a number of different dance styles such as upbeat lyrical jazz, hip hop, pointe work, modern dance, religious dance, ballet, and much more. This event has given the students access to professional grade production value in terms of tech crew, lighting, stage managers, etc. Erich Yetter, assistant professor of dance, explains, “Everyone is able to express themselves through movement.”

This not-to-be-missed event is a family-friendly concert that features something for everyone. The Saturday concert will be preceded by an audition at 9 a.m. for current high school juniors and seniors wishing to audition for the AU dance program, which has four majors in dance, as well as a dance complementary major.
