AU DBA Ranked One of the Best by College Choice

Anderson, Ind. — Anderson University has been ranked among the 20 Best Doctor of Business Administration Degrees for 2017. The ranking from College Choice, a leading authority in college and university rankings and resources, put AU at #11 for the Best Doctor of Business Administration Degrees. AU’s Doctor of Business Administration degree seeks to provide a program of rigor and quality that serves the needs of faculty and potential faculty in institutions of higher education. The Doctor of Business Administration faculty encourage an active approach to the integration of Christian values and faith into the business classroom.

“Our DBA program has enjoyed many years of success with graduates teaching in 100 plus higher education programs across the country,” said Provost Marie Morris. “It is wonderful to have this kind of external recognition of our faculty members’ commitment to excellence in the scholarship of teaching as they integrate Christian values and faith into the business classroom.”

Dr. Terry Truitt, dean of the Falls School of Business comments, “Our combination of academic rigor, research preparation, best practices in teaching, faith integration, and attention to individual students is being recognized by national evaluators.”  Truitt continues, “With this ranking, we see the importance of high standards while staying focused on our mission: preparing others for service.

In its description of Anderson University, College Choice noted that DBA graduates from AU have had their dissertation research accepted for publication in books, papers, and conference proceedings. They find that the degree has opened the doors for consulting, administrative duties, faculty promotion, and continued scholarship.

According to College Choice, the ranking is based on three composite scores: institutional excellence, student satisfaction, and return on investment. The data comes from university websites, PayScale, U.S. News & World Report, and the National Center for Education Statistics.
