It Matters

Every gift to Anderson University matters to our students, faculty, and staff. This Spring, you can give a gift that makes an impact where it matters most to you. Department of Adult StudiesDepartment of Art+Design
  • The Freshman Foundation Portfolio Project is designed to help freshman level students with their initial supplies cost. It is a competitive, need-based fund that is awarded to students based on their portfolio submission.

Department of Biology
  • The equipment fund exists to supplement existing biology department equipment, as well as improve existing technology. Without functioning equipment, students cannot perform studies and further their education. The biology department has moved to a molecular level of study, and this kind of study can only be done with certain equipment.

Department of Communication Arts
  • Financial support will assist students with expenses associated with attending professional conferences, and it will also supplement the costs of bringing speakers to campus for panels and networking sessions.  You can also choose to support the Harold E. Achor Debate Tournament, sponsored by the Department of Communication Arts.

Department of Computer ScienceDepartment of English
  • Financial support will assist students with expenses associated with attending professional conferences, and it will also supplement the costs of bringing accomplished writers to campus.  You can also choose to support the publications and writing contests sponsored by the English Department.

Department of History & Political Science

Department of Kinesiology
  • Support will directly impact students’ professional and academic growth. These projects include assisting students with certification exams, as well as supplemental assistance for attending professional conferences.

Department of Physical Sciences and Engineering
  • The George Washington Carver Fund was created to assist students with summer research projects. All gifts made to the Department of Chemistry and Physics will further the reach of this fund. You can also give foundational funding to the recently launched Engineering Program.

Department of PsychologyDepartment of Religious StudiesDepartment of Sociology
  • Gifts made will assist students studying Social Work, Criminal Justice, Family Science, and Sociology. Projects for this department include: funding for the senior Social Work trip and the Social Problems class trip, support to bring in speakers to campus, and compensation for unpaid internships.

  • There are multiple projects in need of support through the Falls School of Business including supplemental funding for Enactus, professional student opportunities and student research projects.

  • Financial support will matter to our students during student teaching. All gifts will support the Year-Long Student Teaching program, which has 100% placement for all graduates.
