Cindy Sprunger, Director of International Student ServicesCindy Sprunger is the Director of International Student Services at Anderson University. As Director, she oversees the admission and immigration process for undergraduate students, as well as immigration process for graduate students.
Cindy earned her B.S. in Organizational Leadership from Anderson University. She began working in the international arena in 1996 while serving as a missionary in Tanzania, East Africa. She worked in the areas of translation and adult literacy, as well as mentoring secondary students in cultural transitions.
Cindy directs the International Student Orientation, serves as Advisor for the International Student Association (ISA) and provides counseling in the area of culture shock. She also serves as Co-Director of AU-East Africa and is a member of the MOSAIC Committee.
Cindy’s professional interests include African history, intercultural competency, student mentoring, the complexities of culture shock, English as a Second Language and adult literacy.
Cindy lives in Anderson with her husband, Aaron (Moose). They have three adult daughters, and two adorable granddaughters.
Cindy has served at Anderson University since 2008.
