STAR Trading Room

In the summer of 2011, the Anderson University Falls School of Business welcomed construction on an exciting new addition — a financial stock trading room. The development of the room was made possible by a campaign gift from STAR Financial Bank. This live financial stock trading room will benefit all Anderson University students studying finance.

The videos feature the STAR Trading Room in action, during Prof. Deidra Colvin's Branding and Integrated Marketing Communications class.

During recent years, upper-division finance students at the university have been charged with managing the Raven Investment Fund portfolio which, under their care, has outperformed the market in return and risk. Now with a trading room serving as a real-time, high-tech laboratory classroom simulating a Wall Street environment, students will be able to follow the fund's progress as the financial world moves.
