UPDATE: Due to Winter Storm Juno, Shane Claiborne will not be able to join us for Impact Your World Week until Wednesday. Therefore, our Tuesday evening (1/27) chapel service has been canceled. At this time, we are planning for Shane to be with us on Wednesday evening at 5:30 p.m. and Thursday morning at 11 a.m. in Reardon Auditorium. Any further changes in the schedule of events this week will be communicated as they are known.
Five students from Anderson University were in Grand Cayman in January, visiting businesses and meeting with public and private sector agencies. The visit was facilitated by Suahil Housholder, a Caymanian currently employed as the business manager at AU. Housholder and the visiting students are completing a master's of business administration (MBA) degree from the Falls School of Business at Anderson University.
No one is involved with the game of baseball more than Anderson University alumnus Randy Lewandowski.
After playing four years of baseball at AU and starting his career as an intern for the Indianapolis Indians, Lewandowski was recently named the team's general manager.
After he graduated from AU with a business management degree, Lewandowski began working as an intern in the winter of 1994 for the Indianapolis Indians.

From Jan. 24 through Feb. 13, the Jessie C. Wilson Galleries at Anderson University will host the annual Juried Student Exhibition. The opening reception and award ceremony will take place on Saturday, Jan. 24, from 3 to 5 p.m.
This year’s juror, James Sholly, will give an artist talk at 4 p.m. in the West Gallery. His work will be exhibited in conjunction with the student work selected for the exhibition in the Wilson Galleries, West.
A portrait was unveiled for Dr. David L. Sebastian, former dean of the Anderson University School of Theology, on Tuesday, Jan. 20, 2015.
David Slonim, a local artist, painted the portrait.
"God knows how to paint a portrait," Slonim said during the unveiling ceremony. "If this painting looks anything like David Sebastian, it is by the grace of God."
Dr. Sebastian was the longest-serving dean at the School of Theology when he retired in July 2014, having begun his tenure in 1995. He taught courses in leadership, preaching and evangelism.
Anderson University's campus will host the annual Lil' Sibs Weekend on Friday, Feb. 6 - Sunday, Feb, 8, 2015.
"Lil' Sibs Weekend is a must-attend event for all," said Trent Palmer, director of student programs. "Relaxation is not on the menu for this high-octane, high-energy weekend of festive and fun times. Highlighted with Dorm Hopping and Boosters Encore, it begs the question, "Where else would you want to be in early February in Indiana?"
A lecture by Anderson University professor Brian Dirck will air on C-SPAN3’s American History TV (AHTV) this Saturday, January 10, at 8:00 p.m. ET. In Anderson, Indiana C-SPAN3 is available on channel 447.
Anderson University has been selected by The Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching as one of 240 U.S. colleges and universities to receive its 2015 Community Engagement Classification. These 240 institutions join the 121 institutions that earned the classification during the 2010 selection process.
