We're a campus of approximately 2500 undergraduate and graduate students, and while we're all studying different areas and pursuing different goals, we consider ourselves one big family.
With over 60 majors within 17 departments, we're pretty sure that you'll be able to discover your own unique space here at AU.
We can tell you much about our campus, but really, we want you to hear from other students, to talk to professors, to visit chapel, or to sit with other students as they cheer on the Ravens. These are the experiences that matter, and it's how you'll really come to understand who we are here in Anderson, Indiana.
One of the questions we here often is, "Why should I invest in a liberal arts degree?" It's a great question, but it comes with an even better answer. Liberal arts graduates are the preferred candidates when competing in the workforce. Students who graduate from a 4-year university earn more than those who don't.
How much more?
One million dollars over the course of a lifetime.
We live in a world demanding more and more out of our students and our professionals. We hear a lot about preparing students to succeed in STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) fields. Anderson University does that, but it also prepares those students to think beyond their fields of study, to see the world as a place that's big enough to succeed and small enough to make a difference. It's why year after year, our graduates outpace other college graduates when it comes to applying and getting hired for a job or graduate school.
"AU is a place that changed me forever," are eight words that we hear often around here.
We'd like to invite you to come and discover why.
