John W. Crane, DBA grad

The DBA Program offered at the Falls School of Business was the right doctoral program for me. The structure of the program allowed me to continue working full-time in business and to teach part-time in higher education. The DBA faculty was outstanding in developing and facilitating a process-oriented program that was comprehensive and rigorous, but also achievable. Both faculty and fellow students were supportive of my academic and spiritual growth.

“Embrace the Process.” A faculty member encouraged my cohort with these three simple words as we began our DBA program at Anderson University. Anderson’s DBA program is truly a process of academic, spiritual and professional growth. The program’s academic rigor challenges and stretches your ability as a student as you explore the disciplines of accounting, finance, management and marketing. The program provides the opportunity to come into contact with faculty and peers from across the country whom I am deeply grateful to now call friends.

I found the DBA program at Anderson University to be an incredibly rewarding experience. First, the program assisted me in integrating the Christian faith in the courses I teach. Second, I think many educators strive to be more effective in their teaching - I know I do. As such, I found the AU DBA program instrumental in enhancing my effectiveness in the classroom.

I am truly grateful for the opportunity to have studied at Anderson University Falls School of Business between 2003 – 2008. This is one of the highlights of my life’s experience. The memories of good times studying together in a supportive community still warm my soul.

I cannot say enough great things about the DBA program at Anderson University’s Falls School of Business. It helped me to develop not just academically, but professionally and spiritually as well. I learned more than I could have imagined and am deeply indebted to the outstanding faculty and peers that I met and worked with over the last four years. If you are looking for a doctoral program that can be completed while holding down a full-time job and that will challenge you to grow as a scholar and Christian, look no further.

The program has made me a better teacher because I bring more to the classroom than I did before. Understanding research, appreciating and being able to work with theories in my field, and knowing the formative shapers of the discipline of marketing really add a richness to my classes.

Because it’s a Doctor of Business Administration, we covered all the business disciplines and not just our concentration area. I was doing some in-depth study in some areas I really had never been exposed to before. I left the program with a breadth of knowledge in all the areas. It made me more versatile.

John DeFoggi, DBA grad

My time in the Anderson University DBA program enriched my Christian experience without diluting the academic focus or challenge. I left the program having made some really good friends. I became aware of other church backgrounds from my cohort members, and I had a greater appreciation for the body of Christ.

The Anderson DBA program changed our lives forever. We came as three individuals and graduated as three friends who understand the value and worth of "submit[ting] to one another out of reverence for Christ" (Eph 5:21, NIV).
