Parking Policies and Permits
Parking Regulations: All students who park a vehicle on campus or on public streets within campus jurisdiction are required to register the vehicle with Police/Security Services and comply with the AU parking policy. The campus parking flyer provides a map of parking lots and parking regulations.
Parking permits are online this year at http://www.anderson.edu/security/permit.html. Just fill it out, submit, and pay the fee. Online orders will be taken until August 20 to allow the permits to be mailed to your home. After that time, the permit must be picked up in the bottom of Decker Hall Thursday or Friday (August 30, 31) of move-in days. Students may also pre-register their vehicles by filling out and returning the parking permit application in paper form with a $50 check made out to Anderson University. Mail it to Police/Security Services, Anderson University, 1100 East Fifth Street, Anderson, IN 46012. Your parking permit and parking regulations flyer will be given to you with your permit. If you choose to wait to register your vehicle when you get to campus, please come to the BOD during move-in days from 8:30am-4:30pm. Permits will not be sold on Sunday. A temporary permit for one week is available at no charge; two-week permits are $5. Tickets will be issued to all unregistered vehicles beginning September 4, 2012.
The university also requires students to register motorcycles by using the same form. Registering your bicycle is required. Bicycle registration forms are available in the office of Police/Security Services in Hardacre Hall. There is no charge for motorcycle or bicycle permits. If you have any questions, contact Lori Anson of Police/Security services at (765) 641-4154 or by e-mail at llanson@anderson.edu.
