Master of Science in Nursing and Master of Business Administration (MSN-MBA)

Expanding upon the nursing administration track of the MSN, this dual degree program leads to two graduate degrees, the MSN and the MBA. The curriculum offers advanced business knowledge, providing students with the tools needed to lead and direct complex health-care organizations with multiple departments and disciplines. In addition to learning fiscal and human resource management, students will develop a working knowledge of strategic and competitive business planning toward building and continually improving health-care organizations for the 21st century.

Building on the traditions of excellence of the School of Nursing and the Falls School of Business, this 55-credit-hour program can be completed in as little as 36 months. Business courses are identical to those taught in the MBA program. Graduates will be eligible for ANCC certification as a Nurse Executive (NE-BC) once work requirements are met.
