The Anderson University School of Theology has provided me an environment where I can learn to love God with all of my heart, soul, strength, and mind; but it is not only the concept of love that is developed here. The members of this community demonstrate such love everyday, not just through their words, but also through their actions.

After my job as a school chaplain was cut due to funding, everything fell perfectly into place to come to the SOT. The SOT family quickly embraced me as a part of them, and have continually encouraged my calling to ministry. Being here has enabled me to grow in ways I couldn’t have without all of these wonderful people around me.

It is a blessing being part of the seminary community. Working as the chapel assistant has given me special experiences in preparing worship services. As a student from Egypt, being at Anderson University SOT has helped me accomplish God’s calling on my life as I work with training Christians to share the gospel with Muslims.

My experience in the M.Div. program at the Anderson University School of Theology has helped me grow spiritually and intellectually within a community of grace. The professors view students as partners in ministry and have challenged me to look at my faith and ministry in a new light.

I spent almost 20 years of my life in what I would now call an extreme fundamentalist cult. By God’s grace, I came to the School of Theology to begin the process of sorting through my beliefs. The SOT faculty helped me to understand what the Bible says — and what it doesn’t say! They have patiently listened to me process my thoughts. I found a wonderful community willing to help me heal.
