Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) Education Track
The MSN with a focus in nursing education is an innovative program that offers advanced nursing practice knowledge in the area of teaching, curriculum development, assessment, and evaluation of learning outcomes while providing the opportunity for personal and career growth. Students will be equipped with the tools needed to create and manage effective learning environments, utilize theories of nursing and education to promote student acquisition of knowledge, and evaluate clinical performance. Building on the tradition of excellence of the School of Nursing’s baccalaureate program, this 41- credit-hour program can be completed in as few as 26 months. Graduates will be eligible for the Certification for Nurse Educators (CNE)
exam once work requirements are met.
