Trent Palmer, Director of Student Programs
Trent Palmer is the Director of Student Programs at Anderson University. As the Director of Student Programs, he oversees the Campus Activities Board in putting together social events for students on the weekends and advising a year-round, four season, Intramural sports league for students to participate in during the week. He also manages Mocha Joe’s, a student-run coffee shop on campus and finally Trent coordinates orientation for new students. Trent earned his B.A. in Physical Education and Health at Anderson University and is pursuing a master's degree in Student Affairs and Higher Education from Indiana State University.
Trent began his career at AU as the Resident Director of Smith Hall in 2007 where he served four years, has served as the director of intramurals since 2009 and in 2011, Trent was also named Assistant Director of Student Activities where he served for two years until being named Director of Student Activities for the fall of 2013. Trent also is the public address announcer for Anderson University men's football and basketball games and teaches LART 2900, a leadership seminar for student leaders.
Trent is married to Becca (Pruett '07) Palmer and has a daughter, Mae.
Trent has served at Anderson University since 2007.
