As one of three students participating in the year-long student teaching program at Anderson University, 2013 elementary education grad Chelsea Niesley, decided that she was going to make her experience unique. Through hard work and a heart for global studies, Niesley completed her teaching experience in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
The Jessie C. Wilson Galleries at Anderson University presents Still, Blue, an exhibition of still life paintings by 25 renowned artists from across the country who exhibit under the group name Zeuxis. The exhibition will be open October 5 through November 8 with the opening reception on Saturday, Oct.

Each has their own story, and each took to the task of receiving a degree at Anderson University.
Dr. Laura Stull, assistant professor of psychology at Anderson University, conducted research in the field of stigma and severe mental illness for her dissertation. An article based on her research, "Implicit and Explicit Stigma of Mental Illness: Attitudes in an evidence-based practice," has been accepted by The Journal of Nervous and Mental Disease.
Nationally known gospel artist Sandi Patty is heading up an all-star group of performers, all with roots to Anderson University, for "Woven Threads: Celebrating A Musical Legacy of Anderson University."
Anderson University welcomes alumni, family, and friends back for fun and fellowship during Homecoming 2013, Oct. 25-26. Along with the annual homecoming football game and introduction of the homecoming king, queen, and court, there will also be opportunities to enjoy the Street Fair (rain or shine) that will again host Reunion Park, the Raven's Nest Sundae, the return of a photo booth, and RavenFest.
