The Anderson University School of Theology is pleased to announce Dr. Gilbert Lozano will be the 2012 Harp Professor in Residence.
Lozano will give the Harp Lectures in February and March 2012. The lectures will take place in the Edwards Dining room in the Olt Student Center.
The Anderson University School of Theology and the Center for Christian Leadership will welcome Dr. Adela Yarbro Collins on Monday, October 10 for the 30th annual Newell Lectures in Biblical Studies.
Collins is the Buckingham Professor of New Testament Criticism and Interpretation at Yale Divinity School. She will present three lectures on the topic “The Earthly Afterlife of Paul” at the following times:

Anderson University unveiled a new logo and matching web designs today during the opening faculty and staff session to celebrate the beginning of a new academic year. This is the first major redesign of the logo since 1994. In addition, the university unveiled a new communication strategy to distinguish Anderson University through a variety of media—such as billboard and television commercials—that will be available in the fall.

I was hired to teach in the Anderson University School of Theology in 1984, and have searched in vain for a good comprehensive textbook to use in my Christian education classes. Every new book that came along was either incomplete, or had a theological bent that was inconsistent with our Wesleyan holiness tradition.
