Phase two begins for York Seminary Village

Anderson University will soon begin construction on the second phase of York Seminary Village south of Decker Hall. The construction project, consisting of 4 buildings, will be located on the east side of Walnut Street, between 6th and 7th streets, in Anderson. The total project will consist of 20 apartments and a community center in 8 buildings. The first phase of York Seminary Village was dedicated on August 16, 2006. York Seminary Village is made possible through the generous support of Dr. James and Elizabeth York.

Anderson University dedicated the first phase of York Seminary Village south of Decker Hall on Wednesday, August 16. The dedication was conducted at the site of Phase I, consisting of 4 buildings, located on the west side of Walnut Street, between 6th and 7th Streets, in Anderson. York Seminary Village is made possible through the generous support of Dr. James and Elizabeth York. Three School of Theology alumni honored

The Anderson School of Theology recently honored three persons during the recent North American Convention (NAC) of the Church of God in Anderson. Honored were Susan Hardman, teacher in Central Asia; Rev. Edward Bowman, senior pastor of the Southridge Church of God in South Charleston, West Virginia; and Dr. Theodore Stoneberg, professor emeritus of Pastoral Care. Susan Hardman received the Distinguished Alumna Award, Rev. Bowman received the Distinguished Ministries Award and Dr. Stonberg accepted the Distinguished Service Award.
