Dr. Robert D. Branson, adjunct professor of biblical studies at the Anderson University School of Theology, will serve as Harp Professor in Residence on March 12. Branson will deliver a lecture entitled "Creationism and Science: A Continuing War" in the Kane Dining Room of the Olt Student Center from noon to 2 p.m. Cost is $5, and reservations are required.
The window features a number of symbols of theological importance chosen by the faculty at the time. But in the decades since, Seminary Dean David Sebastian wanted to see what the images say to this generation of students, faculty, staff, and worshippers who gather in the chapel.
While many contemporary churches meet in spacious auditoriums and colossal tabernacles, the early church met together continually, wherever they could gather. As recorded in Acts 1, the apostles came together in the upstairs room of the house where they were staying.
