Nationally known gospel artist Sandi Patty is heading up an all-star group of performers, all with roots to Anderson University, for "Woven Threads: Celebrating A Musical Legacy of Anderson University."
Anderson University (Anderson, Ind.) once again earned a place in the top tier among Midwest regional universities in U.S. News & World Report’s Best Colleges 2014 guidebook. The exclusive rankings, which include nearly 1,400 schools nationwide, are available today online, and will also be published in U.S. News & World Report, on newsstands starting September 24. This marks the tenth consecutive year AU has been ranked among the nation’s best colleges.
The Anderson University School of Music, Theatre, and Dance begins a full season of performing arts events on Thursday, Sept. 19, with the renowned all-male vocal ensemble Cantus. The nine-member group performs across a broad selection of eras and genres. The performance, part of the Bengtson Concert Series, will begin at 7:30 p.m. in York Performance Hall.

Last spring, Anderson University senior Honors Program students were given the opportunity to present what they learned throughout their time in college during Scholars' SOAR (student orientation, advising, and registration). Countless hours of research, work, and heart went into creating a message that would appropriately share their discoveries.
Anderson University has been honored as a College of Distinction for the 2013-2014 school year. The College of Distinction designation is given to select schools to honor their excellence in student-focused higher education. Schools selected must excel in the Four Distinctions: engaged students, great teaching, vibrant communities and successful outcomes.
