Anderson University recently announced the launch of a new mobile application for Anderson University -- AU Mobile. AU Mobile will feature university news, campus events, admissions information and other resources. In addition, current Anderson University students will have the ability to access their personal accounts and course information through AU Mobile.
“AU Mobile is more than a portal for campus news and information; it is a functional tool for students to review their account information as well as search courses and programs,” said Chris Williams, director of University Communications and Community Relations.
AU Mobile will provide quick access to admissions resources--including information about applying to AU, visiting campus, admissions counselors and visit dates. A campus map, directions to AU, alumni information, links to athletics and giving information are also included.
“We live in a highly technical society,” said University Registrar Art Leak. “AU Mobile gives students the mobile option necessary to manage their student records."
With AU Mobile, students can enroll in classes, view their grades and manage their daily schedule from their mobile device among other features.
“Rather than forcing students to use a computer to access their records, AU Mobile helps us meet students in a place where they are familiar and comfortable communicating,” said Michael Tucker, director of information technology services.
AU Mobile replaces a mobile application launched by Anderson University in 2011. AU Mobile includes all the features of the original app with the added value of providing students with access to their personal accounts.
