Chartwells Dining Services recently announced a new partnership with Anderson University, and will be upgrading campus dining facilities this academic year including a Chick-fil-A and Olives’s Bistro.

“The Department of Student Life is excited to see Chartwells bring its expertise to improve the dining experience for our students,” said Dean Branson, dean of students. “Chartwells will provide healthier dining options, increased hours of operation, and better food quality.” [Photo on right: Artist's rendering of the Raven's Haven. Prior to coming to campus, Chartwells worked with both students and the university to create an attractive dining program that will feature Chick-fil-A, We Proudly Pour Starbucks, exhibition cooking, and vegetarian friendly locations.

“We went through a rigorous selection process last spring and Chartwells was clearly the outstanding food service provider with whom we wanted to partner,” said Dana Stuart, vice president of finance and treasurer at Anderson University. “They have been excellent to work with since coming on board July 1 and we look forward to many years of serving Anderson University students together with them.”

The Raven’s Haven will be completed November 2013 and will include a Chick-fil-A and Olive’s Bistro. During construction, a temporary area has been built to continue serving customers.

Café Ole renovations will be completed January 2014, but will remain open during the upgrade period. Once open, the location will be renamed Create.
