Dr. Scott Kennedy has continued his research at Google X, the research branch Google Inc.

Anderson University professor of chemistry Scott Kennedy has kept very busy this summer.

Kennedy spent the past few months in California working as a guest researcher at Google X, the secretive research branch of Google Inc. During that time, Kennedy has been able to observe the Google work environment reputation in action.

'A Year With The Saint John’s Bible' exhibit schedule released

For the first time, Anderson University will be participating in The Saint John’s Bible exhibit program, “A Year With The Saint John’s Bible,” where students, faculty, staff and visitors can explore seven volumes of the hand-illuminated Bible.

The exhibit opened on Monday, Aug. 25, and will close March 6, 2015.

The Jessie C. Wilson Galleries at Anderson University are proud to present the Second Nature exhibition, featuring the work of artists Dorothy Frey and Heidi Leitzke from Sept. 8 to Oct. 14.

Google X captures heart, imagination of AU professor

After spending the summer working at Google's secret research laboratory in Mountain View, California, Scott Kennedy has decided to stay.

"Google offered me a permanent job and it was too cool to pass up," said the Anderson University professor of chemistry and physics earlier this week after registering one of his daughters for school.

AU President Edwards to be recognized by the Indianapolis Colts

Dr. James L. Edwards, president of Anderson University, will be recognized as the 12th Man Fan of the Game by the Indianapolis Colts during the Colts pre-season football game on August 23 against the New Orleans Saints.

The 12th Man Fan of the Game honor is given to an individual at each Indianapolis Colts home game whose contributions to their community and the country are far reaching. The special recognition will occur just prior to kick-off.

AU student completes spring congressional internship

Anderson University political science major Daniel Glass recently completed an internship with Rep. Susan W. Brooks in D.C.

Daniel Glass, senior political science major, recently had the opportunity to join the ranks of individuals working in the U.S. government.

During the spring semester, Glass completed an internship in Washington, D.C., with U.S. Rep. Susan W. Brooks. The internship was through the American Studies Program, a study abroad program offered through the Council for Christian Colleges and Universities.
