Alumni to be honored at Homecoming Chapel, Sept. 30

Anderson University will honor several distinguished alumni during the Homecoming chapel/convocation on Thursday, Sept. 30, at 10 a.m. in Reardon Auditorium. Persons being honored include Dan Hamer (Distinguished Alumni Award); Kyle Lacy (Distinguished Young Alumni Award); Pat Griffin (Distinguished Service Award); Sandi Patty (John H. Kane Loyalty Award); Shelby Rhoades (Outstanding Music Award); and Katelyn McKaig (Alumni Council Scholarship).

American Public Television Worldwide (APT), a leading provider of programming to public television stations nationwide networks and television stations worldwide, has confirmed that the new Robert F. Kennedy documentary, “A Ripple of Hope” (1×60) will be distributed to broadcast television networks companies in Australia, Italy and Catalonia (Spain).

Homecoming Weekend: Together Again, Oct. 1-2

Anderson University welcomes alumni, family and friends back for fun and fellowship during Homecoming 2010, titled "Together Again" Oct. 1-2. Along with the annual homecoming football game and introduction of the homecoming king, queen and court, there will also be opportunities to enjoy the RavenFest, the new Reunion Park, and a theatrical production entitled "Children of Eden."

AU Department of Art and Design kicks off the semester

The Department of Art and Design at Anderson University will kick-off the semester with an opening reception on Saturday, Sept. 4, from 3-5 p.m. for Sarah Jantzi: Drawings and the Foundations Exhibition in the Jessie C. Wilson Gallery in the Krannert Fine Arts Center. The fall semester will feature monthly exhibitions which will showcase guest artists, students and alumni.
