Constructive Theology II (THST 5250)

Course description: Foundational work regarding the role of Christian doctrine and theological reflection in the life of the church. Work in theological method including the issue of biblical authority. Consideration given to the theological and doctrinal life of the church from the first century to the present era with special emphasis on contemporary developments. Major attention given to both classical and contemporary Trinitarian thought and to current challenges to it.
The Anderson University School of Theology is the seminary of the Church of God (Anderson, Indiana). The SOT offers a number of seminary degree programs for both men and women, including the Doctor of Ministry (D.Min.), Master of Divinity (M.Div.), the Master of Theological Studies (M.T.S.), the Master of Arts in Intercultural Service (M.A.I.S.), and the Online Master of Arts in Christian Ministry (M.A.C.M.). The School of Theology is fully accredited by the Association of Theological Schools (ATS) and the Higher Learning Commission, North Central Association (HLC).
