David Neidert, director of student development, has served Anderson University in a variety of capacities since coming to the school in 1978. He is a graduate of Anderson University and the School of Theology. His graduate thesis research was on the Concept of the Repentance of God as noted in Joel, Jonah, and Psalms. Neidert was named the second director of the Gustav Jeeninga Museum of Bible and Near Eastern Studies in 1992. He teaches in the areas of archeology and leadership for the school. In addition to writing nearly a dozen curricular programs, Neidert is also the author of several books, including Four Seasons of Leadership, Discovering You: First Steps in Developing your Emotional Intelligence, and GodQuest: Search, Explore, Discover: Kids on a Mission to Find God. He is actively involved with a number of civic organizations throughout Indiana and is a regular seminar facilitator on civic development and personal mission.
