SOT Application - Step 3: Transcripts and References

After completing the application and required essays, the next step in admissions process is to request transcripts and references.

Transcripts: Contact each accredited school you attended and request two original transcripts* to be sent directly to:

Office of Student Development
Anderson University School of Theology
1100 E. 5th St.,
Anderson, IN 46012

* If you received an undergraduate degree from Anderson University, only one transcript is required from AU.


References: Ask three individuals to complete personal references, using the forms provided in the Application and Reference Forms (PDF) document. One form should be completed by each of the following:

  • Your pastor (ordained minister for Online MACM applicants)
  • A teacher or colleague who knows you well
  • A member of your local church (completed by officer of the congregation for Online MACM applicants)

It is helpful to include a stamped envelope when giving the forms to your references. References should be returned to:
