International Students

Anderson University School of Theology accepts international applicants into the Doctor of Ministry Studies Program providing the Doctor of Ministry Studies Committee is satisfied that language and distance will not be inhibiting factors.

All transcripts of previous educational experience must come directly from the college or university attended and have the official seal of the school affixed to them.

The process of admission is in two steps:

  1. Application and acceptance into the DMin program
  2. Completion of the forms and verification of eligibility for the I-20 through the US Department of Immigration.
Please note: completion of one step does not guarantee both. For example, acceptance into the DMin program by Anderson University School of Theology does not guarantee receipt of the I-20. While these steps work in cooperation, requirements of both must be met in order for a student to be fully admitted into the DMin program.

Anderson University's Cultural Resource Center works on the forms for verification of I-20 eligibility with the US Department of Immigration.

Since instruction at Anderson University School of Theology is in English, applicants must demonstrate proficiency in English. Those whose first language is not English must take the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) and send the score to the DMin Studies Committee. The applicant must receive a minimal score of 550 on this test.
