Description: University Police responded to a medical call involving a female with a possible concussion. The student did not show signs of a concussion and refused to be evaluated at the hospital.

Nature and location of complaint: Fire Alarm, 1620 University Boulevard, Martin Hall

Description: Student cooking food in a residence hall left the stove unattended. Food overheated and burnt setting off the smoke detector and fire alarm. Students were evacuated until all clear was given. Only damage was to the food being cooked.

Description: University Security received a cell phone call from a student stating she had a fishing lure with hooks stuck in her hand. The lure was also stuck to a bed and she could not move. Campus officer treated the student with assistance from Anderson Fire Department paramedics.

Description: While on patrol the Security Officer received a cell phone call from a student stating she had hit her head and was in pain. She requested medical assistance and was assessed by a campus officer. A parent was notified and took the student for further treatment.

Nature and location of complaint: Suspicious Activity, East 4th Street and College Drive

Description: University police investigated a report of a red convertible driving recklessly in the area of East 4th Street and College Drive. An occupant threw a beer bottle at the Park Place Church of God. No damage was found.

Nature and location of complaint: Traffic Stop, University Boulevard and Executive Drive

Description: University Police cited a driver into court for Speeding 45/25 in the 1200 block of University Boulevard eastbound.. The driver was also cited for Driving While Suspended. The license plates were falsley registered and the vehicle was impounded.

Description: University Police/EMT responded to a medical call in a residence hall. A student suffered an ankle injury on a stairway. After an initial assessment, the student was treated with an ice pack and taken to the Med Check Urgent Care Clinic for further treatment.

Description: University Police responded to a city police dispatch involving a female threatened with a gun and chased out of her home. She was located by an University Police Officer close to Scatterfield Road. The officer assisted Anderson Police Department with the apprehension of the suspect.

Description: University Police used radar and discovered a vehicle travelling 41 miles per hour on University Boulevard in front of the library. The vehicle was stopped and the driver was issued a citation to Anderson City Court.

Description: University Police located a subject asleep in his vehicle on University property. The subject initially refused to open the door and was removed from the vehicle. Upon investigation, it was found that he was intoxicated.
