Nature and location of complaint: Accident, Wellness Center Lot 25

Description: University police investigated a property damage accident in the Kardatzke Wellness Center parking lot #25.  A semi tractor and trailer turning into the parking lot struck a light pole with the side of the trailer and knocked the pole down.

Nature and location of complaint: Traffic Stop, East 10th Street/Scatterfield Road

Description: University police stopped a vehicle for disregarding the stop sign at East 5th Street / Nursery Road.  The driver was cited into Anderson City Court for the offense..

Description: University officers responded to a severe thunderstorm with winds exceeding 60mph producing minimal damage across campus.

Nature and location of complaint: East 8th Street / Nursery Road

Description: University police investigated the sound of a vehicle striking trash cans near 8th Street/Nursery Road.  The driver was in possession of a controlled substance and was operating with a suspended license.  University police arrested and jailed the suspect for possession of a controlled substance.

Nature and location of complaint: Medical, Wellness Center Fieldhouse

Description: A university police officer was notified of a nearby head/neck injury to a juvenile.  The police officer/EMT assessed the victim and found no significant signs of injury, but Anderson Fire Medics were called at the request of the father.

Nature and location of complaint: Public Intoxication, 200 block Nursery Road

Description: A passerby made University police aware of a male subject walking all over the road near Nursery Road/University Blvd.  The police officer found the subject unable to keep his balance walking back and forth across the roadway.  The subject was arrested for public intoxication and taken to St. Vincent Hospital for evaluation.  After being medically cleared by a physician, he was incarcerated in the Madison County Jail.

Description: University police responded to a fall in the Fine Arts Building resulting in a dislocated shoulder. The patient was escorted to the hospital for treatment.

Description: University police took a report of a property damage crazh involving campus vehicle and building.  The damage was noted and pictures taken of the vehicle and scene.

Description: University police responded to a report of a juvenile experiencing possible appendicitis.  The police officer/EMT assessed the victim and turned care over to the mother.

Description: Officer received a telephone call stating a person needed a "medic" at Reardon Auditorium for an unknown medical problem.  Campus officers and Anderson Fire Department responded.

Description: University police responded to a fire alarm in Fair Commons.  A smoke detector had been activated as the result of an occupant using a hair dryer.
