CSSCD Hosting Inaugural CONspiracy

Anderson, Ind. — The Center for Security Studies and Cyber Defense at Anderson University is hosting its inaugural CONspiracy November 11 at the Flagship Enterprise Center in Anderson, Indiana.

The goal of the cyber and national security conference is to provide a forum that furthers relevant discussions of the multidisciplinary issues and challenges facing professionals and researchers in the areas of cyber security and national security. Speakers include national, state, and local-level experts, as well as industry professionals, academics, and other notable public servants on related topics to information security.

In addition, the event will provide attendees with opportunities for development, networking, and friendly competition.

“The first annual CSSCD CONspiracy is an important growth step in the maturation process of the Center for Security Studies and Cyber Defense, as well as Anderson University,” said David Dungan, executive director of the CSSCD. “This event provides a focused opportunity to highlight the great things that are taking place in this new space and major at Anderson University.”

Among the speakers on the schedule are:

  • John S. Pistole, President of Anderson University and former FBI and TSA Administrator
  • Mrs. Chetrice L. Mosley-Romero, Cybersecurity Program Director for the Indiana Office of Technology and Indiana Department of Homeland Security
  • Indianapolis FBI Special Agent in Charge, Herbert Stapleton

Tickets are available now and are $15 for students, $20 for educators, and $25 for business and industry professionals. A catered lunch is included with admission. The event will run from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. with registration beginning at 8 a.m. To register, visit the CSSCD online.
