Parking Policies and Permits

Parking Regulations: All students who park a vehicle on campus or on public streets within campus jurisdiction are required to register the vehicle with Police/Security Services and comply with the AU parking policy. The campus parking flyer provides a map of parking lots and parking regulations.

Students may pre-register their vehicles by filling out and returning the parking permit application with a $50 check made out to Anderson University. This information should be sent to Police/Security Services, Anderson University, 1100 East Fifth Street, Anderson, IN 46012. Your parking permit and parking regulations flyer will be available in the bottom of Decker Hall at the Police/Security registration table Thursday, August 25 and Friday, August 26. Permits will not be sold on Sunday. You may come to the Police/Security office Wednesday, August 24 and beginning Monday, August 29 to obtain a permit.  Please plan to purchase your permit prior to August 29.  Your first temporary permit for one week is available at no charge; two-week permits are $5. Tickets will be issued to all unregistered vehicles beginning August 29, 2011. 

The university also requires students to register motorcycles by using the same form. Registering your bicycle is required. Bicycle registration forms are available in the office of Police/Security Services in Hardacre Hall.
