Indiana State Tax Credit
The Indiana State Tax Credit - A Special Opportunity for Indiana Residents
In addition to receiving the Federal Tax Savings, residents of Indiana have the added bonus of being able to receive a special tax credit for their gifts to Anderson University.
The State of Indiana offers a special tax credit to taxpayers who support accredited Indiana colleges and universities. When you make a gift to Anderson University, 50% of the amount of your gift comes back to you in the form of savings on your Indiana State Income Tax - up to a maximum savings of $200 for couples and $100 for singles.
If you itemize for federal income tax purposes, you will save even more. In fact, your after tax cost for a gift to Anderson University could be as little as 10.4 cents for each dollar given. The charts below show examples of tax savings.
