Anderson University will receive $1 million to enhance and expand opportunities for its graduates to find meaningful employment in Indiana as part of Lilly Endowment Inc.’s Initiative to Promote Opportunities Through Educational Collaborations. The Endowment awarded $62.7 million in grants to Indiana’s 39 accredited colleges and universities through this initiative.

More than 40 Anderson University Falls School of Business students and faculty will be visiting businesses in downtown Chicago on October 29-30. The group will be departing by coach bus early Tuesday so they can experience what a “regular” day entails at the firms. Dr. Jerry Fox, director of global business studies for the Falls School of Business, has planned the trip for four consecutive years.

U.S. News and World Report ranks AU among top Midwest universities

Anderson University (Anderson, Ind.) once again earned a place in the top tier among Midwest regional universities in U.S. News & World Report’s Best Colleges 2014 guidebook. The exclusive rankings, which include nearly 1,400 schools nationwide, are available today online, and will also be published in U.S. News & World Report, on newsstands starting September 24. This marks the tenth consecutive year AU has been ranked among the nation’s best colleges.
