School of Education unveils new Web site

The School of Education at Anderson University recently unveiled a dynamic new Web site. The new area offers a distinctive new design that remains easy to navigate while offering informative features on a variety of areas such as admissions, curriculum, and faculty. The new site can be accessed at . In addition, to delivering undergraduate and graduate information for the School of Education, the site also houses content for the Center for Character Development.

“The overall goal of the new site was to improve accessibility and usability for key audiences while strengthening the brand image for both the School of Education and Anderson University,” said Diana Ross, dean of the School of Education. “The new Web site is a model for dynamic, fresh, and complete information available to existing and potential students, faculty and staff.”

The mission of the School of Education at Anderson University is to prepare competent professional educators who demonstrate excellence in knowledge, practices, and dispositions and who model values of character. In line with the university’s mission, the School of Education seeks to produce teachers of excellence by integrating learning and Christian faith to prepare professional educators to be effective for teaching and serving in a global society.

The redesigned Web site for the School of Education was developed in conjunction with Brainstorm, a professional design firm based in Indianapolis.

Anderson University is a private, four-year, Christian liberal arts institution of approximately 2,700 undergraduate and graduate students. Established in 1917 by the Church of God, the university offers more than 60 undergraduate majors and graduate programs of study in business, education, nursing, and theology.
