Homecoming activities included the annual homecoming football game, the introduction of the homecoming king, queen and court, a 5k Run, a concert by Christian recording artist Rebecca Saint James, a coffeehouse presenting Greg and Rebecca Sparks and FishersNet, and a theatrical production entitled “The Compleat Works of Wllm Shkspr” (abridged) just to name a few events scheduled during the weekend.
Table displays were also on hand in Olt Student Center representing the history of the campus with memorabilia and voices of past presidents. In addition, several reunions among different departments were also conducted both on and off campus. New to the Homecoming 2001 weekend was the Alumni-Student Fair conducted this year on street of University Boulevard.
