Our Mission Statement

We exist to complement and enhance the Christian Liberal Arts education by:

• Challenging students to value all work-related experience and contribute their God-given skills, interests, aptitudes, and abilities to their community and the world with an attitude of servanthood.
• Endeavoring to provide personal, prompt and courteous service to students, faculty and staff, and employers who hire our students whereby we promote a spirit of cooperation and goodwill.
• Educating students and providing resources for identifying, developing and utilizing skills which assist them in choosing a major, securing employment when they graduate, and preparing for future career changes.
• Encouraging students to examine, develop and solidify a work ethic consistent with a Christian lifestyle that will remain firm when challenged by an ever-changing and competitive society.
• Providing developmentally-based counseling, advising and education in which students are encouraged to take responsibility for making intentional choices in a systematic way so that they will be making informed decisions about their future.
• Assisting the University in enrollment management through offering services that attract students to Anderson University; and encouraging students to establish career goals with the intent of finishing their Anderson University degree.
