Health Services
The goal of the Health Services Department is to provide comprehensive service to students. Offerings include immediate care, health counseling, referrals, and wellness education. Good health, which includes social and mental adjustment as well as physical well being, is essential to learning.
Entrance Health Requirements
All undergraduate students entering Anderson University are required to submit a Report of Health History to the Director of Health Services prior to beginning school. Health requirements for students at Anderson University exist primarily to protect students from diseases, which are infectious, and to secure medical information concerning students should they need assistance from the Health Services Department. This information is strictly for the use of Anderson University Health Services and will not be released without your knowledge or consent. Privacy PracticesAll undergraduate students must meet the immunization requirements and must complete all pages of the Report of Health History including the physical examination. A $60 fee will be added to the student’s account each time services are requested and performed if the Report of Health History is not completed and returned.
All graduate students must meet the immunization requirements and must complete page 1, 2, and 4 of the Report of Health History Form but are not required to have an exam, unless they are enrolled in any undergraduate courses, in which case they will need to meet the same requirements as any other undergraduate student.
All international students (students who are not residents or citizens of the United States) must have a TB skin test performed in the United States. This may be done at Health Services.
