Calling is the purpose that drives how we invest our time, where we put our energy, and the way in which we use our gifts and talents to serve the needs of the world. According to Frederick Buechner, “The place God calls you to is the place where your deep gladness and the world’s deep hunger meet.”
As Parker J. Palmer puts it, it’s what we “can’t not do.”
