Director of Alumni Relations
Colin is a 2000 AU graduate with a degree in Business Management. During his time at AU, he was a four-year member of the Raven football team. As Director of Alumni Relations, he works to implement local, regional and national strategies to engage and connect our base of 26,000 alumni into a cohesive network. Colin is involved with the planning and implementation of alumni events, and serves as staff liaison to the AU Alumni Council. He is also instrumental in collaborating with other areas of university administration such as Admissions, Athletics, and Career Development to find avenues through which AU alumni can serve and support prospective and current students, as well as the programs of AU. Prior to returning to Anderson University, he worked for four years as a national scholarship program director for the American Legion National Headquarters in Indianapolis.
Colin has served at Anderson University since 2014.
Associate Director of Alumni Relations & Parent Programming
As Associate Director of Alumni Relations and Parent Programming, Brenda assists the Alumni Director in finding ways to engage alumni, students, parents and friends of the university by coordinating meaningful events, programs and initiatives.
After working within the university for a number of years, Brenda was inspired by some of her colleagues and mentors to pursue her Bachelor of Science in Organizational Leadership, and earned her degree from Anderson University in 2013. Embracing the love to learn, she began pursuing her Master of Business Administration from the Falls School of Business at Anderson University.
Brenda is determined to live out the mission of AU by keeping alumni, the campus community and community partners connected to AU. By working with the Homecoming Committee, The Alumni Council and the Student Alumni Association, she coordinates the majority of aspects of Homecoming Week and manages multiple student initiatives created to reach out to current students. She also functions as a resource for parents of current and incoming students through newsletters, luncheons, new student move-in and parent orientation.
Brenda has served at Anderson University since 2004.
Administrative Assistant/Office Manager
Casey is a 2013 AU graduate with a degree in Marketing. During her time at AU, Casey was a member of the Center for Public Service and a student assistant in the Office of Admissions. As Administrative Assistant/Office Manager of the Office of Alumni Relations, Casey performs daily administrative tasks, as well as working closely with the Director and Associate Director in planning and implementing various alumni events throughout the year. Before returning to Anderson University, Casey served as the Retail/Marketing Manager at Gear Up Cyclery in her hometown of Plainfield, Indiana.
Casey has served at Anderson University since 2014.
Miriam Coppess and Paige Stayton
Miriam Coppess is an Alumni Office Student Assistant. She is a junior nursing major and hopes to work in pediatric oncology upon graduation. She loves the environment of the Alumni Office, and plans on staying until graduation.
Paige is a junior majoring in Elementary Education, with a concentration in Special Education and a minor in Spanish. She has previously participated in Study Buddies with the Campus Ministry on campus. Starting this year she will be a member of Lamifidel.
As the Student Assistants in the Alumni Office, Paige and Miriam help with Legacy student touches, they also work with contacting Alumni about information that they are seeking. A big part of being an assistant is to help brainstorm ideas and assist the directors with planning and preparing activities that occur with Homecoming.
