Kyle Morgan, Undergrad Admissions Counselor
I am a true Hoosier at heart. Growing up on the west side of Anderson, I spent a lot of my childhood playing sports, games, and eating pizza. My college experience started at Tri-State University, where I played football, and ended at Grambling State University where I earned my degrees - a Bachelor of Science in kinesiology and a Master of Science in sports administration. In my final year of my master's degree, I worked alongside the athletic director at Anderson High School as an intern.
I still try to be active in the Anderson Community and love helping people. I have worked with youth in Anderson for years in different ways ranging from coaching to mentoring. In all honesty, I am still an Anderson kid at heart who truly values building healthy relationships and encouraging people to develop.
Advice for students: I would advise students to pursue a major that has the path toward their long term goals and challenge them not to limit themselves. I would also, encourage them to believe in their dreams and create a path that has options. Lastly I would encourage students to assess their progress periodically and make adjustment, because every successful person has faced adversity at some point that they had to overcome.
