Includes a campus tour, academic, student life, financial aid information and lunch; Concludes at 1 p.m. Individual appointments and overnight experience for students available if requested in advance.

Department Discovery starts at 8 a.m.

Includes time in the classroom, interaction with faculty and students within the major, curriculum and employment information; Lunch is included. Overnight experience for students available if requested in advance.

If you are unable to visit during a Discovery Day, or would like to schedule a follow-up visit.

Individual Discovery starts at 9:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.

Meet with an admissions counselor and tour campus. The day will be tailored to your specific needs and interests. Individual appointments and overnight experience available if requested in advance.

We look forward to having you and your family on campus soon for a Discovery Day. Below you will find several important pieces of information pertaining to your upcoming visit.

  • Discovery Days begin promptly at 8:30 a.m in York Performance Hall and Galleries (Krannert Fine Arts #13 on campus map) with tea & coffee provided.
  • Visitor parking is located on the East end of 5th Street (West of soccer fields)
  • Your visit confirmation letter will serve as your parking permit during your campus visit. The confirmation letter and/ or parking permit will need to be displayed in your vehicle's dashboard during your entire campus visit.
    • If you would like a parking permit mailed to you, please e-mail visit@anderson.edu and one will be sent prior to your visit.

  • For those students staying overnight* in the residence halls, please print and review the Overnight Waiver [PDF] — both you and your parents need to sign the waiver and bring it with you.

We look forward to having you and your family on campus soon for a Department Discovery. Below you will find several important pieces of information pertaining to your upcoming visit.

  • Department Discovery begins promptly at 8 a.m. in Kane Dining Room (Olt Student Center #11 on campus map) with tea & coffee provided.
  • The Falls School of Business Department Discovery begins at 8 a.m. in Fair Commons (#46)
  • The School of Music, Theatre, and Dance Department Discovery begins at noon in Reardon Lobby (#22).
  • Visitor parking on the East end of 5th Street (soccer fields) and a shuttle will be making rounds to pick you up at your vehicle. The shuttle will begin at 7:30 a.m. and run until 8:30 a.m.
  • Your visit confirmation letter will serve as your parking permit during your campus visit. If you would like a parking permit mailed to you, please e-mail visit@anderson.edu and one will be sent prior to your visit. The confirmation letter and/ or parking permit will need to be displayed in your vehicle's dashboard during your entire campus visit.

The entire family is invited to interact with the Office of Admissions and tour campus with current students. The day is tailored to your interests, so you're encouraged to make appointments to:

  • participate in a class
  • attend chapel
  • meet individually with a professor or coach
  • spend the night* in a residence hall and experience the true AU community (*overnight housing requires three day advanced notice).

Our campus visits are designed to give you an authentic introduction to AU and see if AU is the right fit for you!

Individual Discovery is a great way to make a campus visit if a Discovery or Department Discovery does not work with your schedule.
