Stuart Erny is director of Campus Ministries. Call extension 4206 if you need an appointment or a listening ear. Campus Pastor Kimberly Majeski is also available to students. Morrison House, on the corner of University Boulevard and College Drive, houses the Spiritual Life Office and Counseling Services. The offices can be reached by calling extension 4203 or from off-campus at (765) 641-4203. The Prayer Room in the Morrison House basement is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to midnight for prayer and meditation
Church Attendance
Participation in a local faith community is important for spiritual development. Students are encouraged to identify the local church of their choice and attend services regularly.
Miller Chapel
Students are encouraged to find opportunities to use Miller Chapel in the School of Theology for prayer, meditation and reflection. Miller Chapel is open Monday through Friday from 7 a.m.-10 p.m.
Spiritual Emphasis Week & Impact Your World Week
Spiritual Emphasis Week is conducted midway through Semester I and focuses on our relationship to Christ and on growing in that relationship. Impact Your World Week is conducted early in Semester II and focuses on Christ’s call to us to serve in the world. Key leaders from around the world are invited to campus to lead these special weeks.
Acting on AIDS
Join students on our campus and other from across the nation to speak out about and actively respond to AIDS, the greatest humanitarian crisis the world has ever known. (Sally Berger, Student Coordinator)
Advocacy and Awareness (A+A)

Anam Cara
"Soul friend" in the Celtic Christian tradition, this ministry links faculty/staff, upperclassmen, underclassmen in one-on-one mentoring relationships intended to foster deep connections and spiritual growth. (Christina McEntarfer, Student Coordinator)
Christian Center Rescue Mission

Generation to Generation
Help end the isolation and loneliness that the elderly often feel by visiting residents of Anderson nursing homes with other AU students. (Caldwell Manners, Student Coordinator)
Neighbors
Neighbors, a part of Work Projects, is a ministry that reaches out to neighborhoods that surround AU's campus. Students go door-to-door, spreading Christ's love by building relationships through service, prayer, and conversation. Prayer Ministry
The prayer ministry offers a chance to experience the reality and power of prayer with other students through workshops and prayer groups. The prayer ministry also oversees The Prayer Room, located in the Morrison House basement, which is open to all. (Christy Oden, Student Coordinator)
Prison Ministry

Reading Circles

SOUL/Bound4Freedom
SOUL, formerly a ministry focusing on teen moms, is partnering with Bound4Freedom, a journal making business devoted to the empowerment of women, to reach out to women in need. Vision Revision
