Some Highlights
- AUCME (Anderson University Center for Ministry Education) plans chapel services, provides a missions fellowship group, a ministry fellowship group and a wide range of ministry opportunities. AUCME worship teams travel to churches across the Midwest.
- The department offers experiential courses in such places as the Center for Urban Studies in Chicago and the Heart Institute in Florida, a simulated third-world village.
- The Christian ministries major is divided into two tracks. The in-profession track is a stand-alone major for students who want to enter ministry or seminary upon graduation. The in-life track is to be taken in conjunction with another major, equipping the student for lay ministry in areas such as social work, music, accounting, or any other field.
- The faculty are academics—authors of curriculum and books, members of academic societies and most holding doctorates—but they also have pastoral experience and are active in church and para-church leadership.
