Clinical Education
The clinical experiences in athletic training at AU are exceptional. All students take part in at least three clinical sport rotations at AU. They also take part in clinical rotations at our affiliated sites: Central Indiana Sports Medicine, Carl D. Erskine Rehabilitation, St. John’s/St. Vincent’s Physicians Network, Community Hospital Emergency Medicine, and a number of local high school athletic departments. Outside of the required clinical rotations, our students are routinely accepted into first-class internships with the Indianapolis Colts, the Indianapolis Indian’s and the Fort Wayne Tin Caps, and St. Vincent’s Sport Performance and Methodist Sports Medicine, just to name a few.
