WHAT IS ADULT EDUCATION AT AU?

The School of Adult Learning provides a wide variety of programs for credit, as well as professional development and personal enrichment courses for adults age 25 or older. Anderson University is committed to providing convenient and affordable collegiate-based educational experiences for lifelong learners in this community.

The School of Adult Learning promotes student learning and development through a supportive and encouraging environment created for the unique needs of the adult learner. Classes and programs are created with you in mind, knowing you must juggle home, work and family responsibilities along with your education.

Traditional daytime courses are offered to adult students on a space-available basis. Currently one associate's degree is offered through the School of Adult Learning and can be completed through day or evening courses:

  • Associate of Arts Degree in General Studies
  • Associate of Arts Degree in General Business
Bachelor's degrees in one of our 60 majors are also available to adult students. If you need additional hours to finish your Bachelor's degree, the ADVANCE Program offers a degree in organizational leadership through its accelerated evening program.
