Life at AU
Adult Ed classes are offered on campus and at our Flagship Center. An Adult Ed Orientation is scheduled each semester to give you the opportunity to learn about the various resources available to you as an Anderson University student (i.e., career and employment, counseling services, Kissinger Learning Center, etc.) It is also a wonderful opportunity to meet other adult students and share the excitement of returning to school.
The Department of Adult Studies is located in Hardacre Hall on the Anderson University campus. This building houses offices, technology classrooms, conference rooms and labs, and a student area. This 36,000-square-foot building is also the home of the Falls School of Business. Wireless access is available throughout the building. [Top photo]
The Anderson University Flagship Center is a $7 million, high-tech facility at exit 222 on I-69, dedicated in 2007. This facility serves as a learning and conference center for community and corporate educational programs for central Indiana. Some evening programs offered by the Department of Adult Studies meet at this facility. [Bottom photo]
As an adult student you also have available to you many other resources such as our Nicholson Library. The library houses many study hubs, computers for your use, online databases as well as hard copy resources. It is staffed by knowledgeable professionals ready to assist you.
You also have free access to the beautiful state of the art Kardatzke Wellness Center. It houses a full workout area with free weights and machines, a cardio room with treadmills, tread climbers, bikes and ellipticals, three basketball courts, two running tracks and a natatorium. The basketball stadium is included in the Wellness Center. You will want to come to a home game and cheer.
If music is a passion of yours, make sure you come to some of the many varied events held in Reardon Auditorium. It is the place that the annual Candles and Carols worship service is held. Also, many concerts and other shows take place here.
